Portfolio

I have a BFA in studio art from the University of Nebraska. I studied architecture, graphic design and and ceramics. Presently I serve as communications manager for a small non-profit doing their design and marketing.

I also continue to spend time in my studio as much as I can — which is not nearly enough. I refer to myself as a mixed media sculptor. Some of my work follows; email me (TheAestheticElevator (at) gmail (dot) com) for purchasing information.

I like them!
Wondering about the significance of the sapphires.
I am a secretary in a university art department, and I see this work as professional and mature. I see a lot of work that isn’t.

Thanks Marylyn!

There isn’t really any significance in the sapphires. A lot of my work, maybe most, employs inlay. Sometimes it will have some meaning, but probably not most. The sapphires I bought on Ebay: $9,95 for the bag of 62 cabachons. One of them is in my wedding ring!

nice work! I really appreciate not only the look of the inlay, but the ideas. I agree with Marylyn that your work is well designed and thought out.

Hey! Just noticed your portfolio today and thought it was very appealing. The shape and color contrasts and so on are very pleasing to look at.
