“For a well-considered visual environment.”A little background information on The Aesthetic Elevator:

I’ve been visually inclined from a very young age. Through my high school years I took as many drafting and art courses as I could. In college I studied architecture, design and studio art, graduating with a BFA.

My present workplace is a small non-profit creating websites mobilizing for mission work. I do their graphic design and marketing. I recently purchased a kiln after not having access to one for the past five years and am beginning again to work on my own mixed media sculpture.

Our visual environment, frankly, needs a lot of help a lot of the time. Much of it is less than inspiring and in fact egregious. My hope is that these articles will inspire readers to “see better” as I put my thoughts and observations in writing on this blog. “For a well-considered visual environment.”
