Head above water

Still settling into the new house, slowly. I’m eager tonight — since moving really — to establish some sort of game plan with regards to the retreat idea, but that’s expecting too much when half of our belongings are still at the old place and we’re working this week. So I’m trying to suppress the desire.
I’ve been a little bit surprised at how much I’ve missed downtown living. Living in downtown Grand Island wasn’t quite what we’d hoped, although we were getting to know quite a few more people thanks to our puppy. I won’t say anything more on this at the moment; it’s too soon to make any kind of substantial observation.
Hopefully I can work on both of these things at some point in the not too distant future.
Keep it up, Paul. From my own experience… early observations, while they may later prove false… they have a freshness to them that only happens while everything is new. Just for that I think it’s worth something, though I don’t know exactly what…
Thanks for the affirmation. I’ve thought this before but hearing someone else say means a lot to me.
