More art with clouds

Cloud related artwork I’ve come across in the past couple of months (it doesn’t come up very often from what I can tell).
This first painting is by Bruce Lowney. Via my friend Joel Armstrong.
And now for some of Joe Page‘s fluffy cloud inspired ceramic objects. Via The Mud Bucket.

Hmm… cloud-antler-molecule. What do you think of that one as an object, though? I’m not sold on the juxtaposition of the very formal timepiece with the loose and bubbly clouds. Or the composition as a whole. But the idea has the potential to be fun and cool.
Not sold on it either. Honestly haven’t given it too much thought (too busy for my own good, argh), but clouds are a rare enough subject matter that I thought they were still worth sharing.
It’s certainly a stark juxtaposition of form. The singular color helps bring it together some. Really don’t understand the aspect of time at all. I think I visited Joe’s website a while ago (a few weeks now) but don’t remember much from it. Like I said, too busy . . .
