About pcNielsen
Paul Nielsen founded The Aesthetic Elevator late in 2005. He owns a piece of paper, located somewhere in his house (not on the wall), stating that he earned a B.F.A. from the University of Nebraska around about 2001. While there, he studied studied architecture, graphic design and ceramics, graduating with a degree in studio art. Paul presently serves as communications manager for a small non-profit doing their print design and marketing.
He spends as much time sculpting in his studio as possible — which is not nearly enough. Visit his website at pcNielsen.com.
WOW !!!
I love it.
Even if it is advertising.
Columbus, Ohio, it said.
Wonder if “Coop’s Paints” is also a client?
Hey, in one of those weird moments of synchronicity, this giant ad is right outside my window. It’s actually quite wonderful. I can see it now, from the 19th floor of the megagargantuan American corporation where I am holed up most daylight hours.
Who do you work for Andy? Did I ever know (from the A&F boards?)?
Tis a nice ad, though living in a small town for as long as I have now, the building looks huge
Hi Chad. I work at Nationwide Insurance, in downtown Columbus, doing what is colloquially known as network infrastructure architecture, which is a fancy term for how routers, servers, and firewalls should all work together. And actually, the building doesn’t look that big to me. I’m on the 19th floor of a 43-story building. That paint ad is about 12 stories high, and I can look down on it from where I sit. It’s quite creative, though. I guess I should note that it’s an ad for my employer.
The negative about working downtown is that the “No Free Parking Anytime. Pay Here” sign (which you can also see in the ad) is quite true.
Andy Our company does the Joe Grushecky.com web site. You did a great article on him “Blue Collar Hero”. Would I be able to get a PDF of that for his web site?
Thanks in advance
