JBU Gallery: Makoto Fujimura

At the JBU Gallery’s opening of Mako Fujimura’s paintings last night, I took my camera intending to have some photographs for this blog, but the camera was giving me an error I didn’t immediately recognize. So I thought I’d use my new cameraphone, in all of its 2 megapixel glory. However, the battery didn’t have enough juice.
Therefore, I don’t have any pictures of the opening, yet. I should have, in the next few days, one photo of myself and Mako in front of one of a painting — a photo facilitated by my friend Heather Goehner, after she learned of my photographic troubles. In the meantime, here is a work by Mako titled Golden Summer:
