“Gross Clinic” stays in Philly

Thomas Eakin’s Gross Clinic will stay in Philadelphia. I don’t have too much of an opinion on where the painting ends up. However, the city only raised about half of what they actually needed, and according to Deleware Online the difference will be in bank loans — which I personally consider an unadvisable move. Taking out almost $40 million in loans for a painting?
