This story from yesterday’s Rocketboom episode is fascinating.

“The most oversubscribed extra-curricular class at MIT is glassblowing.” Steve Garfield interviews Peter Houk of MIT for Rocketboom. In contrast to MIT’s engineering focus, the lab deals only with artistic glass and pays little or no attention the engineering aspects. See more at:

Paul Nielsen founded The Aesthetic Elevator late in 2005.
